Dear Story Time Parents:

Story Time will be held on Thursdays at 11 AM.

In case of bad weather , Story Time will follow the Sullivan County School District cancellation schedule. If the schools are canceled or if there is a delayed opening, Story Time will automatically be canceled that Thursday. Listen to the local radio and TV stations for any cancellations or delays

Story Time for two year olds and their caregivers is held each Thursday morning from 11:00 to 11:30 at the Sullivan County Library. Each week the child is accompanied by an adult who stays with him/her during the entire thirty-minute session. The role of the adult is to model appropriate behavior and responses for the child. Children learn best when they have an appropriate model to follow. Adults are encouraged to fully participate in the program thus showing the children what is expected of them. This is fun for both the parent and the child. To register your child, call the library at 928-9352. Parents are required to have current library cards

In case of bad weather, Story Hour will follow the Sullivan County School District cancellation schedule. If the schools are canceled or if there is a delayed opening, Story Hour will automatically be canceled that Wednesday. Listen to the local radio and TV stations for any cancellations or delays

Story Hour for three to five year olds is held at the Sullivan County Library on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM and 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM Story Hour is an opportunity for the children to become familiar with coming to the library regularly, selecting books, and interacting with others of the same age. Activities include listening to stories, singing songs, playing games, and creating simple crafts. Please contact the library at 928-9352 to register. A current library card is required by the parents.
